MSC ADVANCED PRACTICE
An Advanced Nurse Practitioner works at the highest level of clinical nursing practice: advanced history taking and physical assessment, differential diagnosis, independent clinical decision making and prescribing. It is a master's-level role, earned through an MSc in Advanced Practice and years of supervised clinical work.

Registration as a nurse means continuous accountability to a professional regulator rather than to a commercial employer alone. It brings a legally recognised standard of conduct, mandatory revalidation, and a duty to act in the patient's interest even where that conflicts with the patient's request.
NMC Registration
VERIFIABLE ON THE PUBLIC REGISTER
The Nursing and Midwifery Council maintains the register of nurses permitted to practise in the United Kingdom. Registration is renewed every three years through revalidation, which requires documented practice hours, continuing professional development, written reflection and third party confirmation. Registration status is publicly searchable and can be verified on request.
Healthcare Improvement Scotland
INDEPENDENT HEALTHCARE STANDARDS
Independent clinics providing certain medical treatments in Scotland fall within the regulatory scope of Healthcare Improvement Scotland. This clinic operates in line with those requirements: clinical governance arrangements, safe medicines management, infection prevention and control, patient records, consent processes, complaints handling and incident reporting.
Duty of Candour
​A LEGAL OBLIGATION, TAKEN SERIOUSLY
The organisational Duty of Candour is a legal responsibility in Scotland to be open and honest with patients when something goes wrong. In practice it means that if an unintended or unexpected outcome occurs, you will be told promptly, given a factual explanation and an apology, and involved in what happens next.
Continuous Professional Development
DOCUMENTED AND REVALIDATED
Aesthetic medicine changes quickly and safely practising it requires ongoing study: accredited injectable training, complication management and emergency protocols, anatomy refreshers, product-specific certification and peer review with other medical practitioners. New treatments are introduced only once training, indemnity and governance are all complete.
Regulation, indemnity and peer scrutiny are what separate medical aesthetics from cosmetic retail. All certificates are available to view in clinic.
